Simple Good Deed

I was waiting to park my car opposite Paradiz Centre in Singapore when I saw this simple act the really warms my heart.

This man (which I will name John for easy reading) was approaching his car. John was a middle aged man, simply dressed man but neat. He entered the car and was about to drive off when he notices this traffic officer going around to fine parked cars that are not showing valid parking coupons.

This traffic officer begins to type into his handheld computer to print a parking fine to a car next to him due to expired parking coupons being displayed.

John steps out, carrying a parking coupon and asked the traffic officer if it was fine if he paid for the next car instead of the officer fining him. The officer looks a bit shocked but shortly agreed. I could overhear the conversation as I just came out of the car parked beside him as well.

John placed the parking coupon, smiled at the traffic officer and drove off.

This may appear to be a simple thing to certain readers, but in Singapore where busyness of life is an everyday thing and people rarely spend extra time to do a good deed for a totally complete stranger.

It completely warms my heart to see it!
